Nurse clinics
Harrietsham Veterinary Clinic offers a wide range of nurse clinics
with our Qualified Nurse Bonnie. Our regular clinics are there to
help keep your pet in tip top health. There is no consultation fee and
any treatment/ tests are often at a reduced rate.
Below are some of the services provided by our nurse during the clinics;
Administration of flea and worm treatments
Some animals can be difficult to give flea and worming treatment to at home; therefore experienced nursing staff are available to administer tablets and spot-on treatments.
Pet Slimmer's Club
If you are concerned your animal is under or over weight, nursing staff are available to advise you on diet and exercise and to monitor their progress.
Mobility Clinics
Help us make sure your arthitic pet is getting the best care possible.
Rabbit and Small Mammal Clinic
If your animal's nails are not maintained at a short length from regular walking on concrete or scratching, the nursing staff are available to safely clip their nails back to a more comfortable length.
Geriatric Clinics
Advice about diet, preventative care, screening blood tests and blood pressure checks.
Dental Clinics
Free dental check and advice on dental care and diets.
General Health Clinics
Claw clipping and tablet giving etc.
Kidney Clinics
Blood tests and blood pressure check to make sure your pet is on the right treatment.
If you are interested in any of these clinics, give us a call, and we'll arrange a time for you.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that as nurses we are unable to diagnose any conditions that your pet may have, and we will refer you to a Veterinary Surgeon for this purpose. Whilst Nurse consultations are free, any involvement of a Veterinary Surgeon for diagnostic purposes will incur costs.
